WHAT IS IT? A formaldehyde-free and
thioglycolate-free temporary smoothing treatment that smoothes,
straightens and strengthens hair, drastically reducing frizz, curl and
wave for up to 12 weeks. WHO IS IT FOR? Any client who has challenges with
frizz, out of control curl, a need to reduce drying/styling time by 50%
or a desire for more manageable hair in general.
WHAT DOES IT DO? Deepshine® Smooth Keratin
Smoothing System was formulated to safely smooth, straighten and
strengthen hair, drastically reducing frizz and curl. Some chemical
relaxing services can cause hair to become dry and damaged, but
Deepshine® Smooth Keratin Smoothing System actually improves condition
and enhances shine as it smoothes.
HOW DO YOU USE IT?
Deepshine® Smooth is a one-step, no neutralizer treatment that requires
hair to be shampooed before treatment application, then shampooed again
and conditioned after treatment application with dedicated shampoo and
leave-in conditioner that are included in the one-application treatment
kit. After processing, the treatment is rinsed out of the hair and for
final results, hair is blown dry and flat ironed.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Deepshine® Smooth Keratin Smoothing Treatment penetrates the hair shaft
and works from within the hair's structure, without leaving a sticky
residue or film on the surface of the hair. Its formula uses keratin
proteins, amino acids and sulfite chemistry to straighten and smooth the
hair. Sulfites work to selectively react upon, or reduce, the cystine
bonds in the hair. This reaction allows the hair structure to realign
with the application of heat during the flat-ironing process, and
reconnecting in "straight" form. Then the special formula goes to work
with:
